By downloading, installing or using the Bible Expert app or accessing the website at https://www.bible-expert.app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Bible Expert is operated by Liftoff (SIRET 952 992 022 00014), 2A Place de la Grande Hermine, 35400 Saint-Malo, France.
Bible Expert grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer the app; (b) use it to violate any law; (c) attempt to access other users' accounts; (d) overload our infrastructure.
The AI Bible Chat is a study companion that provides AI-generated responses with Bible citations. It is not a substitute for personal study, prayer, community discernment or pastoral guidance. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions or unintended biases. You are responsible for evaluating the responses, and we make no representations or warranties as to their accuracy or completeness for any particular purpose.
Bible translations included in the app are used under license from their respective rights holders. The KJV (King James Version) is in the public domain in most jurisdictions. Other translations remain the property of their copyright holders, and your use of them within Bible Expert is subject to the rights granted by those holders. You may not extract or redistribute the text of copyrighted translations.
Bible Expert offers free and premium tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store, Google Play or Microsoft Store, and are subject to those stores' terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel from your store account.
Notes, highlights and bookmarks you create within the app remain yours. We do not claim ownership of your personal annotations.
The Bible Expert app, website, brand, logo and editorial content are owned by Liftoff and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute these materials without explicit permission.
Bible Expert is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liftoff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of Bible Expert.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these terms. You may stop using Bible Expert at any time and request account deletion via support@bible-expert.app.
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saint-Malo, France, except where prohibited by mandatory local law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
