Julien Vermet

Julien Vermet is the founder of Bible Expert and the editor of its blog. He started the project after struggling to find a Bible app that was modern, complete, and free of paywalls — and now leads its product, content, and editorial direction from Saint-Malo, France.

Julien writes the blog with an explicit non-denominational stance: every article is researched against Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox sources, with original-language references (Greek, Hebrew) cited when meaningful. Theological corrections and reader feedback are welcomed at [email protected].

Background & qualifications: Independent biblical researcher, 12+ years studying scripture across Christian traditions (Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox). Self-trained in koine Greek, biblical Hebrew, and the use of standard critical apparatus (NA28, BHS).
